Game Pass Ultimate game (AOE 2 DE) Wont Install Correctly

Hello,

I have XBOX GPU. I have been downloading and installing games successfully for months on both my xbox and PC. I preloaded age of empires 2: definitive edition and everything worked as intended. A couple of days ago an update for the said game had an error
code. I tried to restart the update and continued to get an error. So I figured something was wrong with the initial download. I uninstalled the preloaded game and tried to preload the game again. This is when the install for this and only this game became
glitched. I would click the button to install and it would take one second to

"install" then nothing the game would show in my apps and when clicked on would direct me to the Microsoft store game page. The game released yesterday. So I go and try to install the game via Xbox GPU and still some same glitch. No matter what I've tried the
game "installs" in one second and then does not work.

Has this happened before? Is this something that can be solved without completely resetting my PC?

sorry to hear. To actually uninstall the game and delete it completely, go to your Settings>System>Storage>Temporary Files, and Maybe it’s listed in Delivery Optimization Files. From this is the store trying to install and cant. If
you delete all this files and then reset the store via Settings>APPS>Apps & Features>Microsoft Store>Advanced Options.

This unfortunately did not work. I contacted tech support and went through other fixes. Ended up having to soft reset my PC, which i was trying to avoid. That did fix the issue for anyone that reads this and wants a solution.

If they are play anywhere games then you would be able to play them on console too. But for the most games you need the game pass ultimate. Also there are games like AoE which are only on pc.

Lo ideal sería que verifiques el estado de tu suscripción en:

El primer destacado, arriba a la izquierda, indica las "Suscripciones", allí debes verificar qué tipo de suscripción de Xbox tienes activa exactamente.

¿Por qué? Porque si primero cargaste una clave de Gold de 3 meses y se activó correctamente, y luego una clave de Game Pass para PC, no necesariamente esa clave de Game Pass para PC upgradea tu servicio.

El upgrade es a Game Pass Ultimate, que convertiría esos 3 meses de Gold, a Game Pass Ultimate pagando solo 1 mes, que posiblemente tengas la opción de pagar el precio promocional. Por lo que obtendrías en total 4 meses de Game Pass Ultimate.

Si solo deseas usar la opción para PC, igual para tener los 4 meses tienes que upgradear a Ultimate, pero puedes desactivar la renovación automática y antes de que termine el periodo, cambias tu suscripción de Game Pass Ultimate a Game Pass para PC.

Lo que pasa que cuando tienes que game Pass ultimate en tu cuenta, los meses de Xbox Live Gold o Xbox Games Pass se convierten en Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

Por eso, tu cuenta cambio los 12 mesea de Xbox Live Gold a solo 4 meses de Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. (Cuesta mas cara, que la membresía de Gold)
