Game pass ultimate for battlefield 2042?

So, I own the hard copy of Battlefield 2042. I also own a Xbox gold live membership, and a regular game pass sub. And yet I am unable to play the game. Do I really have to add the game pass ultimate to my list of subscriptions to play a game I've already paid for?

You also get 3 Epic Skin Bundles, but please be aware that: some skins require level unlocks.

You don't need to have game pass ultimate active on your account if you already own live gold and battlefield 2042.

May I know what's the message you're receiving when trying to play the game?

Additionally, may I know if your Live Gold subscription appears active in your account?

You're welcome and to access the trial simply follow the steps below:

On your console, open the Store app and search for Battlefield 2042

Select Battlefield 2042 Xbox One - Choose edition

Select Battlefield 2042 Xbox One - this should be the first option with no price available

Select Free Trial with EA Play and then select Install all
