Game Pass Ultimate Cancelled My Xbox Live Subscription

This is due to all subscriptions are combined into one subscription. Ultimate is Xbox live gold, game pass for console and PC. So yes when you cancel the subscription. It cancels all. This is all explained in the

If you are referring to losing Xbox Live Gold because you cancelled Game Pass Ultimate, there is nothing that can be done. It clearly states that Xbox Live Gold will be converted to Game Pass Ultimate days and can not be reverted and that canceling Game
Pass Ultimate will cancel out the converted Xbox Live Gold. https://support.xbox.com/en-US/billing/xbox-subscriptions/xbox-game-pass-ultimate-faq

You can cancel your Game Pass Ultimate membership at any time, and you will
continue to have access to your Ultimate benefits until your prepaid time ends, at which point you will not be charged again.

Note The upgrade of any prepaid time to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate cannot be reverted back to Xbox Live Gold or Xbox Game Pass, and you cannot receive a refund for Xbox Live Gold or Xbox Game
Pass. You can, however, rejoin Xbox Live Gold or Xbox Game Pass when your Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription ends

Game Pass Ultimate includes Game Pass for console, PC and Xbox Live Gold all in one subscription. So entering an Xbox Live Gold code, converts it to Game Pass Ultimate time.

Do not cancel Game Pass Ultimate as this will cancel all subscriptions. If you only want Live Gold, go to HTTPS://account.microsoft.com/services and ensure auto renew is
off and let the subscription run out. Once it reaches end date you can then add Xbox Live gold if that is the only subscription required.

Currently I have Game Pass Ultimate subscription with recurring billing off and don't want this subscription service once it expires 10/22/22, so do I just activate my prepaid xbox live gold subscription card on 10/23/22, or do I actually have to cancel game pass ultimate subscription for my account on 10/23/22 manually before redeeming and activating my xbox live gold prepaid 12 month card on 10/23/22?

Also, if you select turn off recurring billing on your account for your current game pass ultimate subscription, does that automatically cancel your prepaid game pass ultimate subscription on its expiration date? or is it requirement that you still manually cancel Game Pass Ultimate on or after its prepaid expiration date if you wish to switch back to xbox live gold using a prepaid subscription card?
