Game Pass Ultimate and EA Play family share issue with Battlefield trial error

So when I try to start the trial in the Microsoft store, it says I have to pay for an ea play subscription, but I already have access to EA play with the Xbox game pass ultimate subscription that I share with my brother. I can play other game trials like for madden and such, but not battlefield?

Based on the information you provided, it appears that you are experiencing an issue with downloading a free trial and being prompted to purchase EA Play even though you are game sharing with someone who has Game Pass/EA Play. I'll be happy to assist you with this.



Firstly, I would like to clarify that Game Pass and EA Play are two separate subscriptions and having one does not automatically grant access to the other. However, if you have an active Game Pass Ultimate subscription, you can access EA Play at no additional cost.



Now, coming to your issue, please know that EA play games are not included in the family sharing feature. of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Only the owner of the account which has the Ultimate subscription can access the EA Play games. This means that even if you are sharing with someone who has an active Xbox Ultimate subscription unless you also have the subscription activated on your account.

Because you're located in a region where Game Pass is not available. EA Games like FIFA and Battlefield aren't available in Game Pass itself, but are available through EA Play which is giving by having Ultimate. If EA Play isn't available in Pakistan, that would be why you're not getting those games.

Skate 3 is an EA title, and therefore will likely remain in EA Access. There is a free trial, and a free month with Game Pass Ultimate,

Just to be clear here, you have Game Pass Ultimate and not just Game Pass for PC right? Access to EA Play is only for the actual accounts that have purchased Game Pass Ultimate and is not a feature that can be shared amongst accounts.
