Game pass ulitmate > XBox all access

I currently have Game pass ultimate until April 2022. To get hold of an Xbox X I bought as All-access, so paying over 24 months. I have the code embedded in my Xbox X and not yet redeemed, however, I am concerned another family member will redeem it by mistake.

I am reluctant to lose my existing paid for until April 2022 subscription, will the activation of the 24 months overwrite the existing one or be added to the end?

It's not like you can just try and see what happens!

You can stack up to three years, so you should be good to go

I can confirm that it definitely stacks with the All Access bit...I bought my Series X back at the end of May and had 2 months of UGP on my account prior to that. AFter redeeming the All Access UGP, my accout shows my next UGP payment as being due in July 2023 (2 years of All Access UGP plus the 2 months already in place)

To play online with your Xbox all you need is a Xbox Live Gold or a game pass ulitmate subscription.

I just recently upgraded to game pass Ultimate. From my understanding, you will have to purchase the ulitmate, if you look up game pass. It will give you all the differences. As Game Pass Ultimate also gives you Xbox Live. If you already have Xbox Live it
will convert your Xbox Live into Game Pass Ultimate up to 36 Months. Please Visit the Game Pass website to learn more. If you wanted to undo the transaction and pay for Game Pass Ulitmate, i would suggest reaching out to the Xbox Live team to make the changes.
