Game Pass to GotY Save Game

Im wondering of theres a way to transfer save data between the Witcher 3 Game Pass version and the Complete edition. I’d rather not lose my save but i want to buy the game.

the versions don't share games, so you won't be able to keep track if you move to another version of the game

Unfortunately not. We saw the a similar issue where people were unlocking achievements in GOTY edition and not seeing progress on their Rewards programme. T

They are two different games.

Hi There,

Unfortunately all games that are GOTY editions are categorized as different games and as such will not work with the regular edition saves that you might have. I had the same issue playing various games that were different editions.

Unfortunately, they are two different versions of the same game. So you won't be able to move your save.

I did some research on CDProjekt's forums and it seems that this is a known issue that's not actually an issue, it's meant to be this way. They even mentioned this when they released the GOTY version.
