    Game pass subscription not recognized by Xbox app on PC


    Hello everyone,

    I'm encountering an issue where my Game Pass subscription is not being recognized by the Xbox app on my PC. I've double-checked that my subscription is active and that I am logged in with the correct Microsoft account. Despite this, the app keeps prompting me to subscribe again.

    I've tried restarting the app and even rebooting my PC, but the issue persists. Has anyone else faced a similar problem or have any suggestions on how to resolve this? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Multiple problems with Xbox Game Pass on PC and you, Xbox Team.

    I am having the exact same issue! Just renewed and upgraded to XBox Game Pass Ultimate, the phone app works fine, hell I can even use Cloud play. But on my PC, the XBox App doe not recognize my Game Pass subscription. I hope we will be reimbursed for the
    lost time once the issue is fixed.

    Error code 0x803F8001 appearing for my entire Xbox library.

    That’s great and yes, that includes the Xbox Game Pass for PC. This also included cloud gaming can you please check if you can access cloud gaming on your Xbox App then try to play any game from there? This is to check if it’s recognizing your subscription.

    Also, for the next resort uninstall and reinstall Xbox App.

    Please try the steps below.

    Access your account at this link: https://account.microsoft.com/services/ .

    Check if your subscription is active and if it is, turn off recurring billing for the subscription. Restart your computer after that, go to the Xbox app and try to install a game. Let me know if it works.
