Game Pass single player not working offline

Hello,

I know this question has been asked before but I have found the common answer not to be working.

My internet service provider apparently cant handle the traffic these days, so I have some long outages. My One X is set to home, and I select “go offline” in network settings” but none of the Game Pass single player games work. Even games that are PURELY
single player like Outer Worlds. Any ideas?

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We understand you have question on playing game pass games offline. Unfortunately, they are unable to be played offline. As you do not technically own the games it need to be online for the license.

Nope, single player games usually works offline.

Ok this game doesn’t allow single player or offline play. So I have spent $80 on the game just to need a $20 game pass every month

A demo really doesn't work for this sort of game. It's mainly an online only game and a demo wouldn't fit properly as I don't think there's a single player mode or offline single player I should say.
