Game pass renewal unsuccessfull but funds were deducted :(

Auto-renewal of Xbox Game Pass works as follows:

1. Upon subscribing to Xbox Game Pass, you'll be charged the monthly fee automatically each billing cycle.

2. If you have enough funds in your Microsoft account, the subscription fee will be automatically deducted each month. If there are not enough funds in your account, the auto-renewal will fail, and your subscription will be cancelled.

In summary, when you sign up for Xbox Game Pass, the auto-renewal feature is automatically enabled, and your subscription fee will be charged each billing cycle, as long as there are sufficient funds in your account. There is no specific waiting period for auto-renewal to take effect.

Normally it should show your Order number under your Microsoft account. From here in the forums, you can check by clicking on your name/avatar in the upper right and clicking Microsoft Account. From there, you should be able to view your order history.
If not, I'm sure Xbox Support should be able to see it for you and get the Order number. Good luck and I hope you get this fixed asap.

Just contact Microsoft support and when you speak to them they should be able to fix this for you.
