    Game pass (PC) not registering ownership


    I loaded up the Xbox app earlier today to try and download DOOM Eternal, but it only gave me the “play with game pass” option, instead of letting me download it. I checked with other games and it only gives me the link to buy game pass. I’ve tried updating , reinstalling the app, signing out and in of both Microsoft store and Xbox app, and resetting my Microsoft store, but nothing has worked.

    Edit: I also tried downloading a game straight through the Microsoft store. The download just pauses a couple seconds after loading for a while, then will repeat if I unpause.

    Owning the game for the console doesn't also give you PC ownership since Minecraft is not a Play Anywhere title. Minecraft is also not on Game Pass for PC so purchasing Game Pass would not be an option for you either.

    Then why does my xbox register my owning it, playing it, and having save progress via Xbox Cloud, servers, ownership, etc? That makes no sense. I downloaded the exact same file onto my PC that is on my xbox.

    Thank you for trying to help me, I checked my game pass and it's correctly registered (Xbox Game Pass for PC (Beta)), and my account is verified on my windows 10 pc, everything seems to be fine but Forza 4 online still not working.
