Game Pass PC - Download Got Reset After Blue Screen, Any Way To Get My Progress Back?

Sorry about your issues there. Re-installing Windows because of a Blue Screen error should be a last resort. Windows 10 doesn't get BSOD errors unless the issue is quite serious, which as 'StuartATrueRed' has already pointed out could be caused by any number
of issues.

These blue screens could be caused by a number of issues, software or hardware. For software it could be driver related issue. Hardware could be a failing hard drive, failing RAM or a failing GPU, to name a few. These blue screens are not being caused
by the Game Pass PC beta app. But without a description of what the BSOD error says, there is no way of us knowing what the issue is.

PC Game Pass games use Windows 10's standard Universal Windows Platform and as such all install to the 'Windows Apps' folder. This folder is hidden by default but, it is possible to

take ownership of this folder.

Must be a driver issue then, I know my GPU, ram and hard drive are all fine, because after multiple blue screens, I rolled back the windows update required for Xbox game pass beta, and my system has been stable ever since.

I'm also having an issue with both the store and the xbox pc app. I've been subscribed to game pass the last 3 months. Tried downloading subnautica earlier and got disconnected from the internet. The install got corrupted half way through, so i uninstalled
it and reinstalled it (although xbox app did not delete any files), and it eventually reinstalled. Went to run it and the loading screen started, then the game crashed out after it was tied to my account (did the verification thing), and then I was getting
a disk read error.

Uninstalled it again, and now both the windows store AND the xbox pc app refuse to acknowledge my subscription, and instead show the "this game is included with xbox game pass" button instead of the install button, and clicking it takes me to the "join up"
screen, despite being logged into both with my MS account.

Now, Greggie; did you really READ my problem? Did you really process and understand my problem?

How is it that every time I play games on my tower OR use my Elgato HD60s USB Game capture device to stream from my Xbox to my PC or my Switch to my PC I get blue screens? And yet you moved it to the Xbox part without thoroughly reading it? That's cute as

ANY GAME I PLAY whether it be from X Box game pass to Origin games to Steam Games I get Blue screens

Any time I play my console and stream it to my PC by the Elgato game capture software or from the switch I STILL get Blue screens and I SWEAR to every single sundries deity on this PLANET that If I get told the solution is to root canal this AGAIN to get
it to stop. I'm either going to downgrade to 7 or 8.1 OR go Linux/Unix!

I've used the get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers

at the PowerShell blue screen

After deleting the registry, before restarting, I've uninstalled the game pass app.

Then Restarted the PC

Install the Game Pass app again

And now I could choose the driver, no more problems.

Well after clearing the marketplace cache I was able to make it to 3% before it would reset so I guess that's progress

What's odd is that this is the only game I've had issues with, I can download updates and DLC for other stuff just fine.

Is there any way to download the files on a PC and transfer them to the 360? I'm running Windows 8 so it *is* linked to my Xbox.
