Game pass not saving progress...

Why, when I play Forza 5, does my game restart at a spot, where I last left off, after playing for 5 hours. I was playing the game and had made huge progress. The game restarted, and put me back at the spot I had left off from, when I last logged out. All my progress has been lost.

I logged off, shut down, and came back 15 minutes later to see if it was just a glitch. Well, all my hours of completed races, money earned, and cars were gone. Any ideas?? It's not like I'm new to this. I have everything Horizon, and I've never had this problem happen before. The only difference is that I physically don't own Forza 5, and that I'm playing it through Game pass.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry to hear you are experiencing issues with Forza Horizon 5 crashing and losing your progress. That is definitely frustrating. Was this on PC or an Xbox console?

No, you don't need to have a Game Pass subscription for your game progress to be saved in the Cloud.

Yes. You're progress will be saved so you can access it if you buy the game or renew Game Pass.

One is fifa 20 that is not on game pass and the other one is gta online that is on game pass if i uninstall and reinstall them will i lose my in game progress

Your in game progression are stored and synched in Cloud, you never lost your progress until you explicitily decide to delete local and cloud saves.

Hi Edo,

To restore your game save files from the cloud, you need to have cloud saves enabled on your platform. Steam and Xbox Game Pass will automatically download your game progress from their online cloud servers for all your game data. I would assume since the game was force-closed, it was unable to save your progress.
