Unfortunately, the birthdate that is entered when creating an Xbox account cannot be changed. While you can change birthdates in Microsoft account settings, these changes do not apply to the Xbox account. You will either need to wait until the account has reached the appropriate age or start a new account with the false information.

Hi do you have any advice if I encountered age restriction?

For me I just got game pass, for the 1st 2 weeks or so there was no age restriction issue when I try to download but recently I got it...on all games that are rated 16 n above. I changed my age in my profile but it did not work. N I reinstalled xbox apps, gaming services n created a child account as advice from Ms n reddit post with ppl on the similar issue. I tried 2 days doing the same things n on the second day, which was yesterday, it worked n I was able to install all games as usual. I m just afraid it will come back to me as I read on the internet, many ppl are encountering it randomly. Any thoughts on this issue?

I hope you are doing well today. Welcome to the Xbox Community. Thank you for reaching out to Xbox Forums. You are having issues installing Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy on PC Game Pass. Unfortunately, it seems that Game Pass is not available within your region, and that is one of the reasons this specific game is not available to you. Also, are you using a VPN to access Game Pass in your region? In addition, that is the reason why there is no option to report this problem as we do not have support within your location. Could you please provide a screenshot to look at the issue you are reporting? There is not much I can provide concerning support. I will give some suggestions, but, unfortunately, if Game pass is not supported in your region and there are issues with how you are accessing it, there is not much we can do on our end.

Solution 1: Reset Windows 10 store & Xbox app

1. Open Settings.

2. Go to Apps -> Apps & features.

3. Look for Microsoft Store/Xbox App and click it on the right side.

4. The advanced options link will appear. Click it

5. Next, click on the Reset button to reset Microsoft Store/Xbox App to the default setting.

Solution 2: Try reinstalling the Gaming Services package on your Windows 10 device:

1. Right-click the Start button in the lower-left corner of the main screen, and then select Windows PowerShell (Admin).
   
2. In the Administrator: Windows PowerShell screen, type the following command and press Enter:
   
3. Get-AppxPackage *gamingservices* -allusers | remove-appxpackage -allusers
   

Solution 3: Play games offline on Windows 10 using Offline mode; this error could also be attributed to issues with the Microsoft store not recognizing your entitlement to the game. Would you please click on this link Play games offline on Windows 10 using Offline mode | Xbox Support. Then scroll down and click on the drop-down arrow and look at the steps for How to enable offline play on your device.

That is no longer part of Game Pass. You may need to purchase the game to play it.
