game pass is horrible

I see that you're having a rather annoying problem but in what way could this be the game passes fault? It's most likely just Gears 5's fault. I'd hope you give a second thought about getting rid of game pass because it's simply such a great service, one
that I've gotten a ton of joy from.

i'm sorry to hear about your dilemma, however i'd have to disagree, game pass is amazing, and it brings lots of titles to your console and or pc, for a small nominal fee.

Well, we can first start off by saying the service is still in Beta. Secondly, would you like us to try to troubleshoot or are you just letting us know you're canceling your service?

Either way, I can try and provide some troubleshooting steps, some more information will help in providing better help. Is Gears 5 the only game you've tried? Do others have any issues installing? Have you had any issues with other apps or games (not
in game pass) downloading and installing from the Windows Store? Do you have enough free storage on the drive that the Store is attempting to install to?

The first thing I would try is to reset the Windows Store cache. To do that, follow these steps:

1. Press Windows logo key + X and click Run.

2. Type WSReset.exe in the empty space and hit ENTER.

The second thing is to see if you have any issues downloading anything from the store? Free apps, whatever. See if they have issues downloading.

The next thing I might try is the Windows Store app troubleshooter. Follow the below steps to perform System maintenance troubleshooter.

1. Press Windows + X keys on the keyboard and select Control Panel
2. Type Troubleshooting in the search bar on the Control Panel.
3. Click on View all on the left navigation pane.
4. Click on Windows store apps.
5. Click on Advanced on the Windows store apps dialog box and click on Run as administrator (Enter the credentials if required).
6. Click on Next and follow onscreen instruction complete the Windows store apps troubleshooter.

If that doesn't work, let us know some of the answers to the other questions and what you saw when you ran those steps and we'll see if we can get some more specific troubleshooting steps... if you want them.
