Game Pass Games won't launch

Discus and support Game Pass Games won't launch in XBoX on Windows to solve the problem; First I tried No Mans Sky. Got to the splash screen then no further. Didn't crash, just sat there. Deleted it.     Game Pass Games won't launch


    First I tried No Mans Sky. Got to the splash screen then no further. Didn't crash, just sat there. Deleted it.

    Then tried Halo Master Chief Collection. Didn't launch at all.

    Then Tried Outer Worlds. Didn't launch. Tried to launch it again but it said it was already running. Went to task manager and sure enough, a process was running but no game.

    Tried Broforce. Same thing.. Process was running, but no game. Tried Outer worlds from start menu... same thing... tried it from the windows store.. same thing...

    So I am looking online for a fix but find no help. The MS support site is trash. Then all of a sudden Outer worlds gets to the splash screen, probably 5 minutes after I had tried running it from the windows store.. so I click to start the game and nothing
    happens.. another 5 minutes later it tells me I am not signed in and cloud saves aren't available. Then it goes back to the splash screen...

    I bought ultimate so I could play on PC and once upon a time, I could but now, I can't get any game to work unless I wait 10 minutes it seems.. Then even when it does start up, I can't seem to get in to play.

    Game Pass Affecting Purchases

    I've notice when you launch a game from game pass that you don't own at the bottom right hand corner of the screen a white square with the words game pass in the middle of it will show up. But if you launch a game you do own that is on game pass it won't
    show up. This is a rare problem. I remember reading about it months ago.

    Have you checked that you have all Windows updates on Windows Update, including optional/additional updates?
    Hi Samy, I'm doing great, better now you solved my issue.

    I had a pending update for Xbox Game Bar among other things, I updated then all and is working again, thanks.

    When you mentioned Windows Update I almost died here, I'm currently with a big issue with my updates and I'm procrastinating to solve this because I know I'll have to install a bunch of stuff. Anyway, thank you again. :)

    Also, thanks for the info about the website to play on browser, I did know it existed but haven't tried it yet.

    Have you checked that you have all Windows updates on Windows Update, including optional/additional updates?

    Did you also check for updates for apps in the Microsoft Store? Open the Microsoft Store app, click on the 3 dots in the upper right corner>download and updates and click on ''get updates''.

    Reinstalling the Xbox app and restarting your internet devices can help you too and you can use xCloud at xbox.com/play

    Thanks for reaching out to the forums! We are sorry to hear about your issue. May I ask if you are using any 3rd party software on your laptop that may be blocking the loading of games? Something such as RazerCortex or a similar optimization app may be the cause of your issue.
