game pass games uninstalling themselves + unable to uninstall?

I downloaded Forza Horizon 5 two days ago and was playing it perfectly fine around 8 hours ago. Went to bed with my PC still ON and woke up and wanted to play a little Forza before work, opened the Xbox app up and Forza begins reinstalling all 100 gbs of itself? Decided I'd like to uninstall Halo: MCC because I was wondering if my "low storage" with 300gb left on the drive was causing issues, cannot uninstall halo either through the Xbox app itself, or the add or remove programs section in windows. It's really a pain especially to reinstall big games like Forza considering I get a max of 10mb/s on the Xbox app or windows store for some odd reason, I usually have 300 down on most other launchers such as steam.

For a couple of days now, Horizon 5 is exhibiting a few error's and problems, Microsoft acknowledge them here:

Try this:

Log out of your account on the app, reinstall it, restart your PC, and then log back in and try again.

If this doesn't work:

First, make sure your windows and all its services are up to date:

Open Settings, click Update and Security and then Windows Update;

Click Check for Updates;

Click the Download and Install Now option, if available;

Also, check the Microsoft Store for any updates on the Xbox apps and its services.

Then try this:

Go to windows settings > apps > search for gaming services app > click on it and select advanced options.

After that, click repair and then restore, open the app and try again.

Then do the same for the Xbox app:

Go to windows settings > apps > search for gaming services app > click on it and select advanced options.

After that, click repair and then restore, open the app and try again.

If it still doesn't work you're going to uninstall the games services using a powershell command, then you're going to open the gamepass app, it will ask you to download and install the game services again :

In the windows search bar type Powershell > Right click and select open as administrator > Type the command: "get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-Appxpackage –allusers" > Wait for the process to finish and then restart the PC, then open your Xbox gamepass app, it will ask you to install the gaming services again, install it and try again.

If neither of those procedures works, try to restore your PC's OS via the ISO image tool, using that tool you will be able to maintain your installed games and files.

Thank you to everyone for your advice. I unplugged the external storage, waited 30 sexonds, then plugged it back again. Everything is back to normal now. 😀
