Game Pass game purchase "Buy to Own" still requiring me to have a GP Subscription.

That's not the issue. The issue is that you can purchase the game for a promotional price or large discount, but once you've purchased it you can't even play it without a Game pass subscription.

That is 100% shady because it tricks people in to buying a game that requires GP, when they could have just bought GP to begin with.

hello, thanks for the reply. i tried doing that but it still shows me that i have to pay for the subscription. i had a past due subscription to the normal game pass which i did not cancel, and i purchased the ultimate edition over it. When i purchased it, it showed me an error message but charged me for the GP Ultimate subscription. i then, cancelled my normal game pass subscription so that it did not show me the past due message. but for some reason it still shows me that i have to make the payment for the ultimate edition.

After confirming I do have game pass and logging in and logging back in it is still redirecting me to the buy game pass screen when I try to install any GP game.

There is no 12 month game pass subscription cards

You can buy GP time in blocks of 3 months, and store up to 3 years of subscription

1. No. Game Pass/Game Pass for PC/Game Pass Ultimate Games you still have to purchase if you want to own them.

2. No. If your subscription runs out, then access to the games are gone until you either get the subscription again or purchase the games.
