Game Pass for PC Oblivion Only Launching Through Xbox App

I saw that The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion was on Game Pass for PC, and decided to try a couple of mods since I was gonna be looking for a way to fix or avoid the Abomb glitch. I get my mods, and depending on whether I had the Unofficial patch for the base game, or all the unofficial patches installed, the game would either freeze at the title screen, or hard crash back to desktop respectively. That's not why I'm posting this. After several painful hours of trying to fix the mods, I resorted to trying to uninstall the game. BADLY. I deleted most of the folder before I realized where the uninstall button was, but doing so appears to have caused a major issue with the game. If I boot up the launcher from the desktop shortcut, or directly through the Xbox app, the launcher boots up just fine, but trying to do so through the mod folder brings up a "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item." error message. While this may or may not be much of an issue for most games, Oblivion needs to be booted through the Oblivion Script Extender to be able to run most of its mods. I have a much better idea of what I'm doing now, but I am completely unable to do much of anything involving mods without either fixing the mod folders, or completely resetting Oblivion to a fresh install as if I never installed it in the first place. Because the mods are backed up in a different folder, and the only Oblivion saves I have are on my Xbox One, I am perfectly okay with scrubbing my computer clean of the game's existence as long as my other files aren't affected, and it fixes the mod folder.
