    Game Pass for PC game saves


    I was playing Pillars of Eternity on my PC through Game Pass for PC. Pillars of Eternity is no longer available on GamePass for PC.

    I have subsequently bought Pillars of Eternity via Steam because it was cheaper than through Game Pass for PC.

    What I would like to know is, where are my Pillar of Eternity game saves from Game Pass for PC? Are they Cloud only? Do I have to use Game Pass for PC to access these game saves, if so does that mean I have to purchase Pillars of Eternity again through Game Pass for PC? If so, this is Microsoft holding game saves hostage.

    Yes I have tried Metro Exodus tonight again and it is even worse now. May as well uninstall it, or unsubscribe from the whole thing.

    Adding to the list is Sunset overdrive. The game does the intro video and then goes to a black screen. If this was a normal PC game I would be able to edit this in the local files. I cant however so the only thing I can
    do is "repair in the settings" I can now get the game starting but it deleted my entire save!!!

    what is with this app!!!! Also Microsoft don't seem to care, all my comments fall on deaf ears. at least they have my money though. Must be nice.

    I know there was an issue with the site and store yesterday, but as far as I'm aware that was resolved.

    Game saves for PC Game Pass is usually located on one of these locations:

    C:\Users\[Your Username]\AppData\Local\Packages\[App ID]\LocalCache

    C:\Users\[Username]\Saved Games

    C:\Users\[Your Username]\AppData\Local

    C:\Users\[Your Username]\AppData\roaming

    You'd need to search for the game save file on those locations.

    Yes, i have the game for free through Game Pass on PC. I had already played a few hours of the game but when i go in to try to load my save on PC there is not an option to load save.

    For the past couple of weeks, i've heard that Blair Witch is coming to Xbox Game Pass and i was looking forward to playing it, as i have Xbox Game Pass, but today it shows that its for Xbox Game Pass PC,

    i'm now quite disappointed, should have been advertised as Game Pass PC, not Xbox Game Pass, to save my disappointment.
