Game pass for PC download speed 1 game per month?

Signed up for game pass for PC, started to try and download a game, download speed is in kb/s.....are you kidding me? Yes I have fast internet download speed. Is this how they limit the number of games you can play? 43gb game will take about a month
to download.

I downloaded a 680mb game last night and it took just over a minute so I dont think they throttle pc downloads, I had downloaded a 8gb game a couple weeks back and that took about 25 minutes too

It's probably just traffic on the servers, could even be sever maintenance. It's also still in beta so maybe they are working on something that's slowing it down. You might just try at a different time.

I've had this issue too. I think the system is just still new and they have to update the app. The app does say it's still in beta.

hm it can be the server, and yes it can be your isp or some servers from them.

There are a few things to try if you're seeing slow download rates, so we'll check your settings.

If you open up Settings > Update & Security > Delivery Optimization check to see if you have the option "Allow downloads from other PCs" turned on, and in there, if it is, check if it's "PCs on my local network" or "PCs on my local network, and PCs on the
internet". You can either turn that off or switch to "PCs on my local network" only. If that was set otherwise, see if your speeds have improved.

Further, if that wasn't set, then under Update & Security, still, in Settings, click on Troubleshoot and then "Additional troubleshooters". At the very bottom of that list should be "Windows Store Apps". Run that, if it prompts then let it apply fixes automatically
and see if that helps.

Still having a problem? I'd check a clean boot state. A clean boot is performed to start Windows by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This helps eliminate software conflicts that occur when you install a program or an update or
when you run a program in Windows 10, Windows 8.1, Windows 8, Windows 7, or Windows Vista. You can also troubleshoot or determine what conflict is causing the problem by performing a clean boot.

* Place the computer in a Clean Boot and check if the issue is occurring due to any third party programs.
