Game pass family sharing

My 2 kids have there own consoles as in separate rooms. Currently have family sharing set up between the 2 consoles to save arguments and help reduce costs. It works for xbox live gold. Planning on getting them the game pass. Will both have access to the
library to download what they want or will it be 1 for library and the other can only play what the other downloads? Other posts are not clear and this is the same for Microsoft's own faqs. The faqs state the subscription will work accross the family share.
But there are some posts that say only the main account can access the library. Is the FAQ miss selling by false advise? Just curious before I make a purchase then have to deal with world war between the siblings over the main holder of the game pass taking
the high god stance over the control of the library and whT the other is entitled to play. Thanks

Do you mean game pass? Or you're game sharing with someone in your family? If its game share then try having your family member login with their account on the console and see if it shows up then.

I thought that with Family sharing it didn't matter who had the game pass subscription?

The PC does not have the same function as the console. What you can do is log into the account that has the subscription to the Microsoft Store app on your Windows, download the games and log into the account you want to use to play games on the Xbox app.

Thanks for that information. Kindly verify that your payment method is valid and up to date. Make sure that your credit card or PayPal account has enough funds to cover the subscription. Also, try managing your daughter's account by signing in your account at https://account.microsoft.com/family/home, clicking on your daughter's account then click on "Spending" tab and make sure to turn off the option for "Require approval for every purchase".
