Game Pass Error 0x80070199

Yes resolved, by uninstalling Game pass. I have this code in 2020, I have it in 2022, I have it with Atomic Heart and now I was so stupid to pay for Game pass as I wanted to check Sttarfield, I was playing 18 hours and voil , 2.7GB update - error - 0x80070199. What is a solution from one of the biggest corporations – "assume that your issue has already been resolved". Last time Im paying for gamepass, this is the worst software I have ever used.

Hello chris189, this error occurs when trying to delete or rename a folder. The error’s main cause is the corruption of the file system. The folder is not empty error can also be related to permission settings.

Please try the steps one at a time to resolve the issue.

Solution 1: Reset the Gaming Services app and Xbox app.

Please go to Settings > Apps > Apps Features. Select Gaming Services, then click Advanced options. Click the reset button, do the same for the Xbox app, try installing any game after that, and see if it works.

Solution 2: Uninstall and reinstall the Gaming Services App

Select the Search icon on the taskbar, type powershell, right-click on Windows PowerShell, and then select Run as administrator.

In Windows PowerShell, type the following command and press Enter:

get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers

In the same window, type the following command and press Enter:

start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN

Install the app on that page and select Yes when you receive the User Account Control (UAC) prompt.

Restart your device and try to install the game again.

Solution 3:

Please open the PowerShell in admin mode and paste the following below:

Get-AppxPackage -AllUsers| Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”}
