game pass downloading not working

Game Pass Ultimate is just a bundled subscription of Gold, Game Pass, and Game Pass for PC. So games downloaded from Game Pass will work the same as they do with standard Game Pass versus Ultimate.

Since Forza is a Play Anywhere title, you an download it on both the PC and console without needing Game Pass for PC or Game Pass Ultimate.

Additionally, may I know on what platform are you trying to download the games, Xbox or PC?

But i signed into his account and downloaded it... and i downloaded a game before from game pass and it worked

Sharing works only for the Gold subscription and games downloaded but not the Xbox game pass / ultimate pass… Sorry

To download the game on PC you need the Game Pass subscription for PC or Game Pass Ultimate and follow the instructions I mentioned above.

Game Pass for console will only work on console.
