Game Pass countries are not applicable.

I recommend that you uninstall the game and reinstall it but from the application of the xbox store not from the game pass application

the game pass application is failing too much, I recommend you download the games and start them from the store application

I don't see how possibly authorization of Game Pass can be a problem in my country. Steam, Sony, EA, Ubisoft, Epic, Amazon, ... Same games, different service. But no Microsoft, no Game Pass.

So it is about licensing. There are no issues with licensing for Windows, Servers, Office, lots of business applications, etc, etc. But there is for gaming.

Also there is obvious pattern that bigger countries are ok but smaller ones somehow get no license. Despite some of them are European Union countries and military allies of USA. And XBOXes officially sold in those countries appear to have limited functionality, right? Not sure how they are advertised. Another point: PC gamers, willing customers with hard currency in hand.

If it is not a policy then it is a business strategy and it is not looking good either and IMHO it should change.

Promise not to rant anymore, that should be addressed to Microsoft directly, further opinions on the matter are warmly welcomed.

What country/region is your account on? Is game pass available on your country/region?

Is the problem only with Russian accounts, or from other countries? (Interesting countries with legal game pass)
