Game pass app not remote installing???

Discus and support Game pass app not remote installing??? in XboX Insiders to solve the problem; I’m not sure if this is a common issue or not but here goes.     Game pass app not remote installing???


    I’m not sure if this is a common issue or not but here goes. Just got my Xbox series X recently and I started installing some games through the game pass app for the past 2 days.Note my issue is that today, I can’t seem to install remotely from it as it says that it’s waiting for my console. I haven’t touched anything in the settings in the console nor the app. Any suggestions? Is this a common issue?

    Xbox app does not detect already installed games via the game pass

    Hi there if you are wanting to remote install games on the game pass download the game pass app as the xbox app does not do this. As for it not loading things there are known connection issues that will hopefully resolved soon. Hope you are safe and well

    How you fix it?
    The problem is the Game Pass App on Windows even if Microsoft won't admit it.

    If you use the Game Pass App on your phone, it will allow you to "remote" install the games on your PC. Just make sure to select PC games tab otherwise it will assume you're trying to install on an Xbox console.

    Great, thanks. Done that but it now has a message in the game pass app next to each queued game which says 'First configure your device. To install games remotely, your device has to be configured for it. Find out how to install remotely.' The tool tip
    for this lists 3 things to do, but I have done all 3 of them...

    How do I view my xbox one games on a PC or mobile phone?

    The Microsoft Store app doesn't really appear to be able to connect with my Xbox account in any meaningful way. It displays ads for me to buy Game pass for PC or Game Pass Ultimate, and when I select a game it tries to install it on my PC.

    Do you know why Microsoft created so many apps that have "Xbox" in the title that don't actually connect to Xbox? It's confusing and bad UX. It's also a bizarre choice to have features like Remote Install/Download and Remote Play for Xbox but not allow basic stuff like viewing your game library and managing installs.
