Game Pass app for iOS crashes when selecting default console

A new update was released, and it works now. I guess there’s nothing more to see here...

Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums.

This could be the result of a bug from the recent update for iOS devices. I haven't seen any other threads about this, but have you re-installed the Xbox Game pass app and restarted your mobile device?

If you see a feedback option in the app itself I recommend using it to send this information to the developers.

I can understand how this could be mildly upsetting.

I would say that if you've already restarted your console already, then you might want to try again after perhaps soft factory resetting the console. You can do so by following the steps outlined in our How
to reset your console to factory defaults on Xbox One and choose the option denoted
Reset and keep my games & apps. It's the factory reset that
does not uninstall your games/apps. Before you go ahead with that though, make sure you have good network settings and that you know the sign in info for any Gamertag you use all the time (as they will need to be redownloaded)

When you get a chance, give those steps a shot and let us know how that helped.

I don't believe the problem is with the console. The ios Xbox app can find my console just fine. It is the ios Game Pass app that can not find my home console nor the other xbox one on the same network. keeps saying "sign in on an Xbox and we'll set it as
your default" when in the settings. When you try and remote install a game it pops up with "first, select your default Xbox... go to settings>select default xbox to select your default console".

you can uninstall the app and start over and it still does it over and over again.

I'm also having the same issue, I've tried both PC and IOS Game pass app and xbox app and neither work. I use the IOS Game Pass and Xbox App.
