The Xbox Dashboard tends to have marketing information in a set size on it's pages. If given the option to go back to the original blade system, that wouldn't be possible and a lot of information that Microsoft wants to give to it's customers would be lost.
It's not a bad idea, I just don't think it's in a companies best interest to do that - especially when they are trying to innovate with design.

WHAT???? THE DOWNLOADABLE CONTENT ON THE MARKETPLACE IS THE SAME CONTENT AS THE IN-GAME STORE,THE ONLY DIFFERENCE IS SUPPOSIDELY THAT IF YOU BUY THE SEASON PASS YOU DO NOT GET CHARGED IF YOU BUY THE DOWNLOADABLE CONTENT FROM THE IN-GAME STORE....BUT AGAIN
IT DOES NOT SHOW THAT THE ITEM WAS EVEN DOWNLOADED FROM THE MARKETPLACE WHEN DOWNLOADED FROM THE IN-GAME STORE....WHICH MAKES ME THINK WHATS THE POINT ON GETTING THE SEASON PASS IF IT ACTUALLY DOES NOT SHOW UP AS BEING DOWNLOADED FROM THE MARKETPLACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BECAUSE THE PERSON WILL JUST HAVE TO DOWNLOADED CONTENT FROM THE MARKETPLCE ANYWAYS TO HAVE IT SHOW UP IN THE MARKETPLACE AS BEING DOWNLOADED....then why does the dashboard say you will be billed twice for the same transaction if the items from the in-game
store and the dashboard items were different??? the items from the in-game store and the dashboard are indeed the same or you would not be billed for the same transaction twice if you bought the items from the dashboard

I think its important that they keep updating dash in order to get better performance out of unit, i certainly agree with Stuart to get rid of Mixer tab or Game pass tab cause we know about Mixer app and we know where Game pass games are located in store
or in my games and apps, but we do need stability fixes and getting this dash running perfect for everything, at moment i think thr dashboard and guide is exactly how i want it 100 times better than the snapped version.

this will likely be different for the store you have used to order something online.

And it might even be different per region, I assume this will be shown as payment option when you try to purchase something in that online store at the payment option.

So best course of action is to check what payment options are available for the specific store you want to use.

you signed in to a profile via the option in the guide menu? Also, have you tried signing into a different profile to access the dashboard with?
