Game ownership transfer on the xbox one

Ok my son installed his sonic mania plus on my account and when he plays on his account is loses the "Plus", no DLC content.

I want transfer the ownership/DRM to his account. We do share a console and my account is the Home account.

Hey there Unkown! That's because license transfers aren't used for sharing DLC/Games without paying for them. The purpose of a license transfer is to transfer ownership of content from one console to another console; not to transfer ownership from one account
to another.

For example, proper use of a license transfer would be: You have an original Xbox 360 console and you buy an Xbox 360 S console. You then use a license transfer to transfer ownership of all of your DLC from your original console to your new console.

Unfortunately once content has been purchased from an account there is no way to transfer it onto another account. He should have access to the game itself through the Home Console setting but anything in game that is bonus would only be usable from the
account the game was purchased from.

You can try refunding the purchase so it can be repurchased on the correct account, but otherwise, nothing can be transferred between accounts.

Sonic Mani Plus from retail stores was a redeem code inside the box

 

Ah, didn't realize that. In that case yeah, a refund wouldn't work.
