Game only downloads 88 GB and CTD halfway the blue loading/update bar.

The update, as all updates do, will install automatically when the game is loaded. If you recently downloaded the game the download already contains the update. The original download was approximately 3.2 GB, the current download is 3.88 GB.

And the enemies in the bar are the ones that drop Tiny Tina's Cobra sniper rifle, so that is a bonus too. It's a blue rarity, with a horrible drop rate. .88% for it to drop.

This didnt work - every time I use task mananger to kill it, the next time I run the game, it gets stuck on the 'blue loading bar'. The only thing that allows me to get back to 'Checking for updates' is a complete uninstall and re-install of the game.
I'm then stuck at that page.

Its only 88 GB so thats why i was so skeptical that it downloaded.

i guess i should uninstall and re do it?

About the only console that you dont have to install the game including disc bought games nowadays is the Switch.

Most games nowadays are at least 50 GBs and even with a blue ray disc the most that can fit on it is 27 GB so you would still need to download and install the game to the console

Updates for games come from the publisher of the game not handled by Microsoft so your complaining to the wrong people about updates for your games.
