Game on sale cost a full price

It would be nice if they would drop the DLC price for the PC. Right now the game itself is on sale but the DLC is still full price. You'd pay twice as much for all the DLC than the cost of the game.

The sales are on the main dashboard.

You push once to the right with your thumb.

Then you select if you want the current sales or the deals with gold.

Indie games are included with regular games. You can spot them because you've probably never heard of them and they don't seem to cost full game price.

[/quote]I'm tired of people trying to make this analogy. A car sells for a MSRP. That price covers the entire cost of what that car took to make. Therefore, after an initial sale, the car manufacturer has thus recouped all of the money he needed
for that automobile. A video game, on the other hand, costs a helluva lot more than $60 to make. Therefore, they have to sell X amount of copies of said game to recoup the money. And THAT, ladies and gentleman, is why publishers frown upon used game sales.

Then Devs need to revise their cost/pricing strategy. They should have an estimate of how many copies their game is going to sale and base the price on that. And the full cost of manufacturing cars is not clear from the outset, there are things like aftercare/warranties
etc something games dont have so pricing of a car has to be done with that in mind.

Not all dlc for a game is always put on sale at the same time, especially if they feel one is still worth selling at the full price, and by the sounds of it if lots of people want that particular one then putting the rest on sale may convince people that
there wont be a sale on the full price one for a while so they buy it at full price anyway

I was going to buy lego batman but it's showing the full price on all the games today. I hit the summer game sale tab on xb1 and it's not showing the sale price today. It was showing the sale prices last night. What's going on?
