Playing a game without the disc in the Xbox

Are you asking that if you have a disc based game, and play it with the disc in the drive, but then eject the disc, will it still work? The answer to that is no. If it is a disc game, you have to have the disc in to play the game.

Are games being turned off for Xbox one? As I can’t play the disc once the game is removed from the store?

No, they are not being turned off. You can still play disc games once the game has been removed from the store. If the game discs are not being recognised, then it could be an issue with the discs or the disc drive. Make sure the discs are clean, and try inserting the disc again.

    Disc version not working

Uninstall your game, and put the disc in. Let the disc install then start the game with the disc in.

    disc on xbox 360

Only if it's a downloaded game.

If it's a disc version of a game the disc must be in the disc drive, even if you've installed the disc onto the hard drive.

    Are the games on disc?

If the games are on discs their icons will apear in the library but will say the games arent purchased if the disc (for the specific game) isnt inserted.
