Game of the Year Awards - Which Game?

RDR 2 will most likely sweep numerous GoTY titles. Haven’t played it yet...from what I have enjoyed though I’d like to see FH4 take home a title. The formula seems to be 3rd person action/adventure each year..

 

I can't not vote Red Dead Redemption 2. Even if it isn't your favourite game, you cant deny the amount of detail Rockstar has put into it. One of the most robust, detail oriented game ever made.

 

Red Dead Redemption 2 for sure. But only the single player. Online doesn't deserve that amount of praise in my opinion.

 

I'll go for Red Dead Redemption 2 too, it is hard to beat, praised by everybody and it came out right before the awards...even if there were other good games during the year, everybody have that in their mind right now.

 

I assume RDR2 will win (deservingly), but I'm thrilled to see Celeste getting so many nominations, including GOTY(!!), Games for Impact, and Sound/Music. It really is a masterpiece, and aside from its excellent platforming gameplay, it's got a surprisingly
well-executed and emotional storyline, and the kind of soundtrack that really manages to enhance every scene and sequence.

 

While RDR2 is awesome, I'm pulling for God Of War

 

Basically, anything but Red Dead for me.

 

On TGA will be lot of interesting games.

 

So far it's been assassin's creed odyssey. That game is beautiful and has so match depth

 

I imagine red dead will win this but sea of thieves should be close for game of the year aswell.

 

From the shortlist of finalists, I'd have to say red dead redemption 2.

My personal favourite is Forza horizon 2 but that isn't on there sadly.

 

Im not sure i would say red dead 2 but then there's forza horizon 4 but im pretty sure red dead going to get the W on that but if it was genre-wise then it would definitly be forza horizon 4 in racing and red dead 2 in shooters
