Game of the Year Awards - Which Game?

Hey everyone. So there has been some amazing games released this year! Now the big question. Which do you feel deserves Game of the Year 2018 award? I've been voting for Red Dead Redemption 2 this year. The single player story is so amazing and the
game is breathtaking. What's your winner?

Opinion: Skyrim or Witcher 2

fyi Bethesda would still release a version with all the xpacs in it in two years even if they hadn't won this award. which btw, the GotY from the VGA's is like saying its an amazing feat that Green Bay beat your local highschool football team. ie it isn't
saying much. the one you want to look for are the BAFTA and the AIAS which I think are done early next year for this year's games (they dont jump the gun like Spike and wait for all the years games to release before holding an award show).

 

Sea of Thieves for me. Most fun I've had on a game this year, most random stories I've got from a game this year too. Battlefield V is pretty great too.

 

I expect RDR2 to take Game of the Year, but I hope games like Strange Brigade, and Graveyard Keeper get recognition too. There have been so many amazing games this year.

 

Read Dead will probably get it but I havn’t played it yet. My personal picks would be Horizon 4 or Sea of Thieves. God of War was pretty good as was Yakuza 6.

 

If i were to guess its going to be RDR2.

 

Assassin's Creed Origins for me. Just love the amazing graphics and open world design.

 

Really enjoy Forza Horizon 4.

Havent started with RDR2, fellow gamers in my community says it is good. So hopefully either one of these 2 wins.

 

Red Dead Redemption 2 will win this year. It's metacritic score alone should tell you that...97. Their a literally only a couple games that are a 98

 

Red Dead Redemption 2 without no doubt...the quality of the game is so much superior in comparison with all the other games release this year...no chance

 

I love BFV too. Its stunning.

 

Another beautiful game. RdR2 had it for me due to the story line as well.

 

It was a stunningly good year for games but RDR2 has raised the bar on what can be done in a single player narrative, it deserves GOTY.

 

I think RDR2 will definitely win most of the awards, there are other great ones out there too, SOT was pretty amazing and so is the new Tomb Raider.
