Game not working the way it should

I recently purchased Dead Space 2 for my Xbox One.

The game doesn't list the DLC I have purchased in the past in the "ready to install" section under "manage game". Now, I was able to download most of it from the store without being charged (I could not download the Rivet Gun or Collector's Edition which
I did have for the 360; nor was I able to download the Online Pass, not that it matters that much, although the message at the start of the game asking you to download the pass will likely get annoying).

I did play the game till you get to the first store. And despite having downloaded all the DLC packs with armor and weapons, NONE of them showed up in the store; not even the hacker suit and contact beam for completing Dead Space Ignition. For Mass Effect
3, there was a special suit and weapon you could only get from playing the demo for Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. In My ME3, both of these items were accessible despite no longer having the game demo. I mentioned this because DS2 should still have the hacker
items if ME3 has the KoA:R items.

A few other things I noticed. The thumbnail for DS2 on the home screen was black with a grid of dots instead of a picture. The game seemed awfully loud and bright. I don't remember it being that way and turning the brightness down all the didn't seem to
do anything.

I'm no programmer, but I feel as though this might be a programming issue. If it is, please fix it. If not, someone please help me get my DS2 working properly.

Game DVR not working as it should

My game DVR does not work as it should. Instead of 30 seconds clip it records from 1 second to 19 seconds.

This happends with BF4.

Is this a known issue?

There's no fix for this. None of the DLC is working. I've contacted EA but gotten no response.

 

Having the same issue. A lot of us are. I think there is a long term fix in the works. The DLC finally started showing up in the store but you can't download it (the Rivet Gun and Collector's Edition.)

 

It's my understanding (and experience) that Microsoft is who you should contact to address this.

I contacted them first, they said there's nothing they can do and it's EA's problem.

Hey, guys!

We are being advised that this is resolved now. If you own Collector's Edition content, check under Manage Game to see if the content can be installed there now. If it's not showing up, head over to the content on the Xbox One Store and see if it's showing
as "Install" there. It should be available by following these steps:

1. Go to manage games in Xbox One for Dead Space 2
2. Under Ready to Install, install the severed, rivet gun, CE, and other DLC you own
3. Launch the game and see if severed is an option for you when you start a new game
4. Get into the game and get to a point where you can equip armor. See the inventory list and you should see the rivet gun and the zealot assets.

If it is showing up, great! Confirming that you're all set is what I would need at that point.

If it isn't, please let me know! To help explain the situation to the team investigating, screenshots of everything would be helpful. Here's what would be beneficial:

• In-game (there should be red lines through some content, which is by design, but we want to see what it looks like for you)
• Xbox One Store content showing it needs to be purchased
• Manage Game section for Dead Space 2, both the installed and ready to install sections

I'll get that off to them and we'll see what our next steps are from there. Thanks again to everyone for your patience and help with this!
