Game not showing up on xbox app on pc but it shows up on the xbox

i bought a key for stardew valley and redeemed it for xbox one. It showed up on the xbox but not on my pc on the xbox app or on the microsoft store. It is in my order history. Do i just have to give it time or is something wrong?

Unfortunately that game is not within the "Play Anywhere" category, so the console license cannot be used on PC, only games within this category can be used on both platforms with the same purchase.

Install the Xbox app on your PC, all the games that show up there can be played on the PC.

It depends on what the game is and if they sent you the right version. If they sent you the Xbox version and the game is not Play Anywhere, then it won't be available on PC.

you would have to get game pass ultimate or purchase them on PC, 99% of games are not play anywhere and you have to purchase them on every platform you wish to use them on

Both Xbox and PC games will show up for your friends if they are using Windows 10 and and are logged into the Windows 10 Xbox App. Your friends are playing Arma3 on a PC, not on a console.
