Game no longer in Library after switching to a new PC

I am very sorry for the problem you are going through, with the intention of being able to help you I did an internal search on the Microsoft forum and found a publication by Gerardo C., an independent advisor, where he suggests the following steps to try to solve the problem:

First of all, check using the following link to see if your purchase appears, make sure to modify the filters so that all purchases appear and not just in a period of time:

If your purchase does not appear, it means that this is not the account with which you purchased the game, so you must log in with the correct account. If you are not sure which account you bought it with then log into each of them until you find the game in the history.

If the game does appear in your history and the problem persists then please perform a hard reset of both your Xbox application and the Microsoft Store. To do this, you must type in the Windows search engine and open the following: Applications and features.

Find the "Xbox" application and select it, then click on Advanced Options and click on "Reset" and confirm the process, do the same for the "Store" application. It is recommended that you restart your PC after finishing this.

thanks a lot for your extensive answer. I indeed tried all of these, but to no avail. I also checked all my Microsoft accounts (I use a different one for business apps than for games), but neither lists this game.

My "games" account on the xbox app has some achievements completed or started for this game, which suggest that I have indeed played it with this account. It just doesn't remember that I still own it.

In any case, many thanks for your advice but unfortunately, I'm still at square one :-/

Game sharing only usually allows 5 switches in any given time frame (last I heard it was per year). If you use l 5 up you are sometimes offered one last chance to game share with a new console.

When you set your home Xbox to one console, any other consoles you have set as your home xbox will no longer be a home xbox, meaning whichever xbox that was can no longer be used while you aren't signed in to play your games library

Your missing the pc and switch not only that but pc has been out for longer than the xbox
