    My xbox one s wont recognize that I have inserted a game disc. It loaded on my xbox one, but my one s isn't even responding to it's presence. how can i remedy this?

    Hello,

    When you say game disc is it a XB1 disc or a 360 disc?

    Any notable damage or scratches?

    Do other discs work?

    Thank you for posting on Xbox Forums! I understand that having the console not read your game disc is a frustrating matter but, I will be happy to assist you with the issue. Have you tried what the Ambassador's have previously suggested by

    Power Cycling     your console? If not I would suggest trying that to try and resolve the issue. I would also recommend trying the

    Xbox One Disc Error Solution     if power cycling your console does not work. If you have any further questions after trying the link please feel free to reply back letting us know. Thank you again for posting on Xbox Forums!

    Try power cycling the console by holding power button for 10 seconds, that should resolve the issue

    I Have had this issue with the xbox one S Aswell when I upgraded I had found out it was a hard drive issuse however I desided to upgraded to xbox one X no issues since then
