Game keeps trying to con me into buying xblive

Every time before playing and every time when quitting.

I don't want xblive, how to stop the console and games from trying to rip me off?

Hello every time I try to purchase red dead redemption for my Xbox one it says that the transaction is encrypted help !!!

Are you trying to buy it via credit card, pay pal, or credits already on your account?

Have you tried buying it via your PC via the xblive marketplace(make sure you are logged in).

 

ADS ADS ADS and more ADS

I'd rather see more ads in games, especially open world games. I mean we exist in a world of ads, it's just not realistic when you only see generic stores in video games, but I don't want to see what was done in Fable 3...Jasper keeps on trying to push me
into buying more DLC for the game.

 

I'm confused by what you are trying to ask. To power off the console you can hit the power button on the console, or you can hold down the controller gem then select "Turn console off." The games are not trying to rip you off, they are suggesting Xbox Live
Gold membership for mulitplayer use.

 

Is it just an ad on the dashboard? Or is it keeping you from playing games?

You have a choice, either you join Xbox Live or not.
