Game keep saying installation incomplete

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

We understand you are having issues with installing Fortnite. No worries, I will do my best to help you sort this out and we can try some steps to fix the issue however just a heads up, in case the steps fail we may need you to submit a ticket to Epic Support so they can help you further on this.

This issue can be caused by various factors, such as corrupted data, network problems, or software updates. Here are some steps you can try to fix the issue:



- Restart your console by holding the Xbox button on the controller for 10 seconds, then press it again to turn it on.

- Check your network connection by going to Settings > Network > Network settings and run the Test network connection and Test multiplayer connection tests.

- Clear the local saved games cache by going to Settings > System > Storage and select Clear local saved games. This will not delete any of your saved data, but it will sync it with the cloud when you launch the game again.

- Cancel the installation and delete any partial data by going to My games & apps > Queue and highlight Fortnite.

Press the Menu button and select Cancel. Then go to My games & apps > Games and highlight Fortnite. Press the Menu button and select Uninstall all.

- Restart the installation by going to My games & apps > Ready to install and select Fortnite. Press A to start the installation.

- Reset the console. Press the Xbox button  to open the guide.

1. Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.
   
2. Select Reset console.
   
3. On the Reset your console? screen, select Reset and keep my games & apps. Use this option as your primary choice when troubleshooting. It resets the OS and deletes all potentially corrupted data without deleting your games or apps.

And when I say "keep trying", I mean, deleting the incomplete game from HD, clearing system cache and then start the download again.

Ok sorry it says incomplete but, I was able to still install the game the same day why would it take the game away from me almost a month later if my money did go through?

Yes, I did as he suggested; still no luck.

Also, I'm certain the game is copletely installed (it doesn't say anything to the effect of "still installing" but it certainly feels like it's incomplete at this point with what's going on. I've already reinstalled it twice though - you'd think that if
that were the case, the 2nd install would've completed it.
