    While playing assassins creed odessey (digital download) and only during this game, the application will freeze then return me to xbox home screen. This happens often usually after prolonged periods of use, or reopening the app from earlier use (since
    I assume the application picks up where you left it and was always running in the background even while xbox was powered off)

    I was having this same issue with AC Odyssey. I deleted the game and reinstalled, no issues since (knock on wood).

    You may need to uninstall and re install the game.

    It's a game issue on that one. I've had the same issues with that game and it's been a widely spread issue over various systems as well.
