Game invites through Xbox Game Bar (Playing Sea of Thieves)

I have a question that i spend a few hours on the internet looking for. Howver I have not found one. I have recently just started playing Sea of Thieves with a couple of other friends and I play on Windows 10 laptop. I use gamebar, and I'm quite fond of
it personally. But, I've found a problem when i recieve invites through gamebar and go to accept under the social setting, the check mark doesnt trigger anything to join a game, but the X closes and dismisses the invite just fine?

After uninstalling and reinstalling Sea of Thieves and the Xbox Game Bar many times, I am able to invite and accept invites on Sea of Thieves Insider through the Game Bar. I am able to send invites from the Game Bar for Sea of Thieves. However, when I receive an invite or try to join in on Sea of Thieves, I still have the same problem. Sea of Thieves and Sea of Thieves Insider are two different builds. There must be a file somewhere on my computer that is not being deleted or uninstalled and it's not allowing me to accept these invites on just Sea of Thieves. I don't know how to find this file.

That option is not there for Sea of Thieves when I launch it. I do see the option for other programs like Discord or Firefox, but when I open the game bar while focused on Sea of Thieves, I just see "Sea of Thieves" with no option to remember it is a game checked or unchecked.

You are correct that I am on the steam version of Sea of Thieves. Game bar does detect that I am playing this.

I invite or join games by using the gamebar's Xbox Social window, right click the person, select Join game.

I don't have Steam anymore. When I posted my initial question, I stated that I had the Steam version but after having the problem, I got refunded for the Steam version of Sea of Thieves and proceeded to uninstall the Sea of Thieves version and I also uninstalled Steam. I have uninstalled the Microsoft version of Sea of Thieves twice and have reinstalled it twice. I have completely uninstalled the Xbox Game Bar with Powershell and then I reinstalled it. The game bar connects to the Xbox Live servers and I receive the invites through the Game Bar but it doesn't trigger the game to start when I click ACCEPT. Just to reiterate, Steam is no longer on my computer.

check for updates in the windows store, game bar has recently had updates and also fixed party chat too.

Maybe it's a Sea of Thieves setting as I haven't seen anything yet in Xbox Game Bar that uses SHIFT+F. Unfortunately I don't play Sea of Thieves on PC so I can't check that to confirm for you.
