Game Installations All Paused (despite usual troubleshooting methods)...any tips please?

    Hi all,

    - Went to play Mordheim and kept getting "game not ready" despite it being installed.

    - Deleted game and tried to reinstall but installation kept "PAUSING"

    - Went through troubleshooting: checked status, checked account log-in, checked free space, checked for system update....no change.

    - Cleared hard-drive (factory settings option) and installed apps again...no problem. Then installed a few games, some installed (3) and then installation began pausing again.

    - Oddly seems to be on Blood Bowl AND Mordheim which are both from same publisher...could that be a link?

    Anything else worth trying?

    Many thanks!

    :)

Xbox Downloads are broken - Live Services issue?

i also had this problem but going to your install queue there is a pause all option and a cancel all option, try hitting the pause all option, then resume all option repeatedly, it might take a few retries but it finally worked for me, without having to
cancel the entire progress. so good luck and i hope this method works out for you.

    Hey JOAS

Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums.

Is the game not installing or is it taking longer than usual to install this game?

If the game is not installing at all, we recommend reviewing the article that cover

    Troubleshoot game installations problems .

If the game is taking longer than usual to install your game, then the article that covers

Troubleshooting slow game downloads should be of much more assistance to you.

I hope this is of some use to you.

Hi, so sorry for the late reply and thanks for the help, unfortunately despite trying all the troubleshooting tips from the first post the problem continues. I tried starting the game from the xbox app, microsoft store and start menu and the xbox companion
app says the connection is all good.
