    Game install taking days to complete.. What's going on here?


    Kinda thought this was normal until talking to a few buddies who have games install in a few hours..

    I bought the digital version of Arkham Knight and began installing it around 5pm yesterday, it is now 9:15 am and I'm only at 25%

    What could be the issue here?

    Extremely long install times.....

    It literally is taking me days to install NBA2k15, can anyone help me with this? Back in the 360 days it took like 5 minutes to install a new game. I shouldn't have to leave my xbox one on for days just to install a game

    When will xbox live work again? Can you atleast tell us what's actually going on? Who will pay the days i lost on live? Why is it taking so long to fix the issues? ....

    Sorry to hear it. There could be interference from others using the internet or possibly an update blocking it.

    Can you please try holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down to see if that resolves the issue?

    Have you tried running a Network Diagnostic in the Network Settings menu? It could tell you your download speeds and packet loss among other things that could be limiting your download.

    MSFS install going on 7 days and not complete.

    I'm having trouble locating these settings files. Any chance of a hint eg cloud, registry.

    Any little hint would help immensely.

    I did end up solving the issue.

    I had done a wipe on the computer and for some reason your settings don’t wipe when you uninstall the game so my bandwidth settings that were set in game before hand were still making it so that it could not download quickly. There was a way to fix this in files (stupid that you can’t do it from the download menu). However, I can’t remember how to do it but it was posted somewhere on the forum. Try searching up how to remove msfs settings from files and see. Sorry I can’t be more help.
