    Game I downloaded on Xbox costs money on Windows Store


    On my Xbox Series X, I purchased the Dead by Daylight Silent Hill edition. On my PC I signed in to the Windows Store with the SAME microsoft account my Xbox account is linked too. I have the order history and everything. But on the Windows Store, I still have to pay to install Dead by Daylight Silent Hill Edition. From my research, I should be able to install the game for free. Please help me.,

    That game does not support Play Anywhere. So you would need to purchase it for PC if you want to play it on PC.

    If you purchase the game on Xbox (keep in mind, no release date announced yet), you will be able to download the Windows version at no extra cost from the Microsoft Store on Windows. However, if you want the Steam version, you will have to purchase it
    separately since it's not part of the Play Anywhere initiative.

    XBOX Login on Windows 8 Games

    The other Windows 8 games such as:
    - ilomilo plus
    - Touchdown Hero: New Season
    - Despicable Me: Minion Rush
    - Shuffle Party
    - Pac Man Championship Edition DX+

    - Make It Rain: The Love of Money
    - Bejeweled Live+
    - Kinectimals
    - Adera

    and many others. None and absolutely none of them can sign into XBOX Live. So we assume that these are all lost causes too? No game that was made for Windows 8 (before Windows 10 was released) can sign in. I don't know if shutting down XBOX Live services for the Windows 8 casual games knocked these out too. With the exceptions of Bejeweled Live+ and Pac Man Championship Edition DX+ (removed from the Windows 10 Store), all the others are still available in the Store for both Windows 8 and 10. And some of them cost money.

    Am i right to Think that it comes with 2 codes one for Windows amd one for XB1?
    If you purchase directly from either the Windows store or Xbox store, the game will then just be available to download/install without codes.

    to Install” under “My Games and Apps”. On your Windows 10 PC, games will appear in “My Library.”
