This has happened twice to me in 24 hours. Once with Unreal Tournament 3 and now with RAGE. Defs something is up

Please try to follow this workaround procedure, this will clear some cache info from the Xbox and try to refresh the game startup and system settings which could prevent the game to start:

First try to Power cycle Xbox one:

Plug in your Xbox console.

Press and hold a power button for 10 seconds or more until it turns off.

After that, unplug it and wait for 10-15 seconds.

Plug it in and turn on.

After that, check if this helped to fix Error code 0x803f8001. If it didn’t try hard reset.

Second, you should navigate to the Microsoft Store in your Xbox.

- Then you need to find for "Blue-Ray"

- Select the Blue-ray player application and click on GET

- After install the application, go to the Xbox menu > Settings

- Go to Devices and Streaming and then select Blu-ray

- Now go to Persistent Storage and Clear Persistent Storage

- After finish, go back to the General tab > go to Power mode & startup

- Switch from energy saving to instant-on

Then go back to General tab > Network settings > Advanced Settings

and then choose Alternate MAC Address > Clear

After that you need to restart your console.

Go to your Store again and try to play the game.

If the issue persists, then try:

Settings > System > Console Info > Reset This Xbox > Reset and Keep my Games and Apps.

Note =>The "Reset and Keep my Games and Apps" option will not cause losing your games, but please be aware that you need to be completely aware of the email address as well as the password of your account before going for it because it will require you to sign in to the account.

I have a similar issue too but with elder scrolls 4 oblivion instead. Just bought it and it’s asking me to buy again and still has game pass tag on it too but the other 2 games I bought in same transaction say I own them.
