    Game graphics look terrible on Series S


    I got MGSV and GTA 5 on my computer, and I realized it looks 10x better than on my Xbox Series S, I compared the two and MGSV has motion blur and depth of field on my computer, but has none of those on my Series S, I tried looking for a graphics settings on my Xbox like it has on the PC, but it's not there either. This is the same for all the games too, not just Metal Gear.

    Hi, and thanks for reaching out. My name is Miguel O., Sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue!

    Microsoft chose to release a less powerful console in order to reach a larger audience and there are plusses and minuses associated with that.

    Microsoft knows about this and has been trying to fix it, on August 2022, Microsoft freed up memory reserved for the Xbox Series S' system for game developers to use on the Xbox Series S.

    At the moment we need to wait hoping in the future this issue become a lesser problem.

    This looks terrible.

    Most of the games i play on series s look terrible . I given up using the system. It looks so bad im mad i brought it at times.

    Also Rocket League which is a game I play a ton it is Series S|X enhanced and on quality mode on Series S it looks like trash. I don't mind graphics hence why I bought the series s but God jaggies everywhere and looks pixelated.

    Ghosts to me was the worst in the series, graphics look like a early Xbox 360 game, sound effects sounded like it came from a PS2 game, stupid storyline, even worse multiplayer, and terrible voice acting.

    No, your Series X isn't toast. This is a known issue with the game and hopefully a patch will be released to address this in the nearest future.

    Thanks, Jesse: I looked at the link you supplied. I'm not sure it is the same issue- the link is talking about Performance mode and the graphics looking 'terrible'. I don't see anyone mentioning green 'blocky' splotches appearing all over the graphics. If you look at my videos, that's what I'm seeing. It isn't just 'terrible graphics'- it is unplayable as splotches/blocks of the screen are completely hidden by the graphical garbage.

    I'd really love it if it was a problem with Halo Infinite itself, but if it is then how the heck is anyone playing this game on Xbox Series X?
