    after 5 minutes of play game keeps freezing up have put a fan on console to try and keep cool.. will downloading to hard drive help at all ?

    Random Freezing When Playing Metal Slug 3

    It only happens when i play this game and it freezes after 5 minutes of playing the 1st to 2nd level.

    I've only finished two games. It freezes every time I play after about 5-20 minutes.

    Try playing without the hard drive installed to see if the console still experiences the same issue. If it plays fine then you may need to get a new hard drive.
