Game Freezes/Controller disconnects

Hi there. I have an Xbox one s, less than a year old. Within the past day or so, I started to have a problem where I would lose some control in my controller, then my controller would disconnect. I would have a hard time reconnecting it, taking out the
batteries and restarting the controller wouldn't do anything, the controller still wouldn't do anything. When this happens, it seems like the game lags/glitches as well. It'll freeze for a second then try to catch up. This has happened in both overwatch and
the witcher 3. I'm trying Skyrim to see if it does it for this too. My Xbox is up to date and so are my controllers. I tried two controllers and they have the same issue. One controller I bought like a month ago. I tried the hard reset/power cycle and that
didn't seem to help either.

I'm getting similar problams with forza2 in mid game controller disconnects brings up message your controller has dc but it's still on and screen freezes have to do hard reset to get it working again

 

Xbox constantly disconnecting from xbox live

I would be sat their playing any game then all of a sudden controller starts flashing and disconnects then the game freezes then i get disconnected from xbox live. does anyone else get this?

these troubleshooting steps and see if they help resolve the disconnects. A lot of times this can be caused by interference from another device near the console, does the issue occur if you use a wired connection? Post back and let us know how it goes!
