    Game FPS is horrible when in full screen, restarted to see if it would fix and now xbox...


    If im playing a game in fullscreen mode, it will have such a bad fps that the game is unusable. BUT if I press the windows key to pull up the taskbar and windows 11 menu, the game will run perfectly, I just have a windows menu in the middle of the screen. If I return to full screen, then it goes back to lagging.

    In the game settings for the games, I have tried all screen options: Windowed, full, and borderless. None of that works.

    My driver on my graphics card was just updated so maybe that is it. I restarted my computer and now my screenshot, 30-sec capture, and record are greyed out on my xbox game bar. I went through every tutorial on the internet to fix that to no avail. terminate it, reset it, re-start it, make sure the proper settings are on, etc.

    What do I do.

    Well ..not exactly.Although most xbox originals were.True its a 360 game but normally when I see screenshots that dont have full screen images I picture those horrible xbox originals mocking me from the darkest depths of my hard drive.

    FPS / window full screen mode Problems on PC

    started about a week ago. graphics driver update but after the event started happening. No other hardware updates.

    I uninstalled and reinstalled the game. i verified integrity of game files in steam. I changed some settings in nvidia control panel. Just now I reset my graphics card and I am back up to 35-45 fps now so a little better but not where it was.

    again, it started happening when I switched from full screen to windowed full screen. I switched back to full screen but when I tab out of game it is acting as if it is still in windowed full screen.

    I just love how every FPS now is a "COD clone" to some people. What has COD done to you that was so horrible that even when you see a different game you think of COD? The new Goldeneye looks like fun and I'll check it out. Hopefully they can get crackin'
    on making a proper Turok game now..
