Game DVR on Windows will not show/play video nor allow me to download/share them

I don't know if this is just a technical issue on xbox's part, but as far as i can tell i haven't changed anything since last time i download screenshots and videos off of the game DVR. however, this time when i went to check my recordings, none of my videos
will even play let alone download/share them. i notice when i try to watch them in full screen, i get an error that says Error:unsupported video type or invalid file path, but these are record the same as any other video i've recorded. any suggestions as to
why this is happening?

please allow of sharing clips & screenshots of non windows store games soon

please I beg of you guys to allow of sharing clips & screenshots of non windows store games in next update or two. i just want show my game clips from skyrim of the cool mods in stuff to my friends on xbox not to share on facebook, twitter, etc as i dont
use those sites only xbox. this be perfect time to allow cause everyone home for holidays. why not go ahead in allow? whats making it not be allowed now? already allowed recording with game dvr with all games why not share clips & screenshots with all games

Can't share clips or screenshots from Quantum Break

The Game DVR won't allow me to save or share anything thing from QB. Anyone else?

I have a similar issue. My videos can be recorded, and actual playback works well, but the app mentions the game is not recognized and so it blocks the download. What's up with that?

I believe you can simply download the video in the dvr tab thru the windows 10 xbox app. Although I wasn't able to download my video for a specific game I'm playing at the moment.

You can indeed download the videos captured by the xbox.

You have the option to upload them to the OneDrive and from there it easy to share, download or whatever else you need.

But using the xbox as a DVR is not really an option.

If you have a mobile game clip what you've recorded to your phone using a screen capture app or something like that, you can't upload that video to Xbox Live.

Sorry, but that's not the way it works. You can download, edit and upload back
to Xbox Live only those game clips that
you’ve recorded with the Game DVR feature.

Step 1: Upload the video to Xbox Live (what you want to edit)

Step 2: Once it's uploaded to the Xbox Live, download it to your Win10 PC via Xbox App

Step 3: Edit, trim and save the new game clip

Edit and share game clips with Game DVR in the Xbox app on Windows 10

Step 3: Upload your edited video back to Xbox Live

But am i doing it right???? I rendered the video as an mp4 like how xbox clips are formated... but when I go to the game dvr section and hit share it gives me the error that it wont accept games that are not from the xbox store or windows store.. yet i edited
a game that i downloaded "FROM" my xbox clips..

Or is their another way to go about doing this?
